When the match starts, each HQ that enters is put into your team’s holding area (randomly chosen at either the NE or SW corner of the map) - you are stuck there for 3 minutes.

Buildings become available for capture in timed phases. You gain water by capturing and holding buildings and water resource nodes. The goal is to gain more water units than your opponent. And 25% of the time, you’ll be evenly matched and have a really great game (we once won a match in the final 30 seconds!). About 25% of the time, you will do the stomping. Midgame, Water RSS nodes appear that you can farm for points (these are great for smaller players to focus on).Ĭommunication is vital, so a discord voice chat room is super helpful.Ībout 50% of the time your opponent will be a small squad of super buffed HQs and you will get stomped. A decent strategy is to assign small teams to each zone to try to take and hold buildings. Those buildings provide Water (collecting more water than your opponent is how you win) or various buffs if you control them. The RR map has 5 basic zones that have buildings you can capture. The game makes a copy of your HQ and you play with that fake HQ - none of your troops are lost in real life, so you can go nuts and attack everything! RR gives you some free heals, speedups and teleports, but you can also use those from your backpack - those you WILL lose for real, so be careful you don’t accidentally use stuff from your backpack if you don’t want to.īuff up and put on a jammer before you enter. Your hospital MUST be empty and you must have all troops home in order to enter the RR map. So you are in effect penalized if people who sign up don’t show - stress that to your alliance, only sign up if you can make it. A few things - you get matched to an opponent based on who the R4/5 have signed up for Raid.
